Sahat is an Advocate and Consultant of Intellectual Property Rights registered at the Directorate General of Intellectual Property Rights. Currently, he is a Partner at the SIDABUKKE & Partners Law Office in South Jakarta. He is a Bachelor Degree (S1) graduate at the Faculty of Law, Airlangga University, Surabaya, East Java with a specification of Business Law. In 2010, he also completed his Masters program (S2) at the Faculty of Law at Monash University, Melbourne, Australia with a Master of Commercial Law. After completing his Masters studies in Australia he worked at Azmi& Associates, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Currently, he has also completed the S3 (Doctoral) Study Program at Pelita Harapan University, Jakarta and he is also the Daily Chairperson of the Indonesian Family Singing Home Entrepreneurs Association (APERKI).
